The Third Annual Philadelphia Trauma Training Conference: Promoting Equitable Access to High Quality Services for Vulnerable Children and Families will provide an intensive, collaborative training experience to providerseducators and leaders across healtheducation, and social service disciplines, as well as to community members invested in the health of their families, neighborhoods, and cities.

 

Participants will:

  • Learn about programs and initiatives nationally and globally that aim to promote equitable access to services and supports for individuals, families, and communities;
  • Develop and enhance skills and knowledge that can be readily applied to address negative health outcomes and health inequities; and
  • Grow interprofessional skills, and emerge motivated to work collaboratively across disciplines and sectors to contribute to healthy outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

EARLY CHILDHOOD: The 3rd Annual Philadelphia Trauma Training Conference has been approved for credit by Pennsylvania's Quality Assurance System (PQAS).  Attendees are eligible for a maximum of 12.25 contact hours.  Contact hours are offered on a session-by-session basis with full attendance required for each session.  No contact hours will be offered for Registration, lunch topics, community building sessions, poster sessions and networking event.

PSYCHOLOGISTS: 

Thomas Jefferson University is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Thomas Jefferson University maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

This program is approved for maximum number of 12.25 CE credits. Participants should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This program is approved for 4.25 CE credits for the Day 1, 4.5 CE credits for the Day 2, and 2.5 CE credits for Day 3. The content of the conference covers basic through advanced competencies.
