Dr. Eugene Storozynsky completed his MD/PhD degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 2000. He than completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He than joined the Program in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplantation/Mechanical Circulatory Devices where he was involved in all aspects of the care and management of patients with end stage heart failure. In 2010, he developed Upstate New York’s first Cardio-Oncology Program at URMC serving a cachement area of nearly 4 million people in conjunction with the Wilmot Cancer Institute before being recruited to Jefferson Health to become Enterprise Chief of Cardio-Oncology. Dr. Storozynsky has a particular interest in managing hypertension in patients treated with chemotherapy, identification of asymptomatic atrial and ventricular arrhythmias caused by chemotherapeutic agents utilizing novel technology, cardiovascular complications of radiation therapy, advanced strain and contrast echocardiography, and native heart endomyocardial biopsy in identifying chemotherapy induced cardiotoxicities.
