Dr. Rollison is the Vice President, Chief Data Officer and Associate Center Director of Data Science at Moffitt Cancer Center, serving as a research faculty member since 2004. Prior to joining Moffitt, she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with honors from the University of Miami and completed her master's, PhD and postdoctoral training in Cancer Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins University. Her independent research focuses on the application of data science techniques to enhance cancer surveillance and etiologic studies of cutaneous viral infections, environmental exposures and immune function. She has obtained millions of dollars of NIH funding and authored more than 120 peer-reviewed journal articles.
Dr. Rollison began serving as Moffitt’s Vice President, Chief Data Officer (CDO) in 2010, setting executive vision for Moffitt’s enterprise wide data warehouse and analytics strategy to support team science, accountable care analytics, data sharing partnerships and the practice of personalized medicine. As CDO, she currently oversees Health Data Services, including the Cancer Registry, Data Quality and Business Intelligence, Health Informatics and Advanced Analytics. To grow Moffitt’s data science expertise in parallel with the data infrastructure, Dr. Rollison became Moffitt’s first Associate Center Director (ACD) of Data Science and Chief of the newly created Division of Quantitative Science in 2017, overseeing the academic departments of Integrated Mathematical Oncology, Machine Learning, and Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, as well as multiple data-related Shared Resources.
