Dr. Zheng is an epidemiologist with a major research focus on evaluating lifestyle factors, genetics, and biomarkers for cancer risk. He received his medical degree from Fudan University Shanghai Medical School and his doctoral degree in epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Zheng has directed more than 20 large-scale, population-based studies and has authored or co-authored nearly 1000 peer-reviewed research papers. He has mentored more than 50 junior investigators. Dr. Zheng is an elected member of the American Epidemiology Society and has served on the editorial boards for multiple life science journals.
