Dr. Reis-Filho, Chief of Experimental Pathology Services, is a surgical pathologist with experience in breast cancer gene expression profiling and genomics.  The focus of his laboratory is on the identification of the drivers of special histological types of breast cancer by using a combination of massively parallel sequencing and functional genomics approaches.  Dr. Reis-Filho focuses on the development of a predictive molecular classification for rare types of breast cancer and characterization of intra-tumor genetic heterogeneity in breast cancers.  He is a true leader in the genomics of breast cancer.
