Madeline Licker Feingold, Ph.D. has been a licensed psychologist since 1985 and has over 25 years of experience treating adults, couples, adolescents and families. In addition to her traditional psychotherapy practice, Dr. Feingold specializes in treating reproductive health issues including infertility, pregnancy loss, and postpartum depression. She has extensive experience in all aspects of alternative family building with donors and surrogates, screening ovum donors and gestational carriers, consulting with intended parents, and facilitating collaborative reproduction arrangements. A former Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Feingold has a long history of educating beginning therapists and those interested in reproductive medicine. She has served as the Chair of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and has been a member of the Mental Health Advisory Group for Resolve. Dr. Feingold provides services for reproductive clinics and donor and surrogate agencies and since 1992 has been the Director of Psychological Services at the Alta Bates In Vitro Fertilization Program. She is a current member of the Mental Health Advisory Council of Path2Parenthood, as well as past president of the Alameda County Psychological Association. A frequent speaker and author on topics related to the psychological aspects of reproductive medicine, Dr. Feingold maintains a private practice in Oakland, California.
