The purpose of the Leadership Academy is to develop senior faculty and administrative leaders who will work collaboratively to drive Jefferson’s business strategy and organizational transformation.
This will be achieved through:
- classroom focus on the big picture of the business of health care and Jefferson’s situation,
- a variety of approaches to understanding self and others in order to achieve better working relationships, and
- experiential education on innovation and creativity and leadership styles.
Coaching and project work will be integrated with the classroom education to support individual development and reinforce key learning. Attendees will assess their individual practice in light of the information and discussions during the course, and identify specific strategies to implement as part of a continuing improvement process for their practices.
