COVID-19 Resources

To try and slow the progression of the COVID 19 virus, many of the upcoming programs have been cancelled or postponed. Check the individual activity course page to verify its status. If there are changes in the status of any activities that have not yet been cancelled or postponed, an email will be sent to registrants.

Expedited Credit Approval for COVID-19 Topics

The Office of Continuing Professional Development (OCPD) is offering an expedited credit approval process for topics related to COVID-19 in support of our Jefferson family. The activity format may be a group discussion or lead by a facilitator. Under this process, conflict of interest statements are not required for facilitators but they must be full time Jefferson employees.

These COVID-19 specific topics will be treated as a regularly scheduled (RSS) series in our learning management system (LMS) allowing for ease of collecting attendance by having learners submit a text verifying their participation. Topics may include the treatment, management, epidemiology, and virology of the COVID-19 disease, managing exposed patients, cross training clinicians, ventilator management, and working in a spontaneous team. Activities must be a minimum of 15 minutes though it is expected that most will take an hour.

Those interested in facilitating a COVID-19 educational activity will need to complete the expedited application. Once received, it will be reviewed within 48 hours. The attendance code will be provided in the approval email.

Click to access application. Questions should be directed to Jennifer Turner.
