This inaugural program will focus on the Innovations in the Endoscopic Use of the Holmium Laser.
Participants will explore the instrumentation, technique and practice guidelines of the holmium laser to treat complex urologic problems in both the upper and lower urinary tract.
This full day course uniquely combines didactic material, case-based discussions along with an optional hands-on session to provide interested urologists with a comprehensive learning experience.
Through focused, in-depth lectures and lively interactive case-based discussion, participants will explore:
- Laser Physics
- Management and treatment strategies of upper urinary tract disease and upper urothelial carcinoma
- Holmium laser treatment for BPH (ablation and enucleation).
Participants will have the opportunity to participate in guided practice of advanced laser techniques under the direct instruction of world-renowned experts and Jefferson faculty during the afternoon optional hands-on lab.
*Space is limited for the optional hands-on lab. Be sure to register early!
This course is specifically designed for licensed urologists interested in expanding their knowledge and level of expertise of the holmium laser technique.
