Sudden cardiac death of young athletes is a very important and escalating issue affecting today’s youth.  Join Jefferson to review the latest information and protocols for effective screening of student athletes.  Then, listen in and question Brian Hainline, MD, the NCAA’s Chief Medical Officer, as he discusses  NCAA’s progress in reducing the incidence of sudden cardiac death and maximizing the overall safety of athletes.  This cutting edge review will inform your practice, and help you contribute to the dual goals of improved safety and reduced sudden cardiac death.
