The course directors, Rodney D. Bell, MD, Robert H. Rosenwasser, MD, FACS, FAHA, Carissa C. Pineda, MD and Pascal Jabbour, MD, Thomas Jefferson University Departments of Neurology, and Neurological Surgery, have developed an agenda that includes in-depth presentations on epidemiology and  treatment options for risk factors in stroke such as hypertension and blood pressure management, atrial fibrillation, acute stroke, sleep apnea, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformation, vascular diseases, antiplatelet therapy and anticoagulation for secondary stroke prevention.
