The 3rd Annual Sleep Medicine Symposium: What's New Under the Moon features novel therapeutic and diagnostic tools in sleep medicine and covers hot topics in sleep disorders including:

  • Insomnia
  • Excessive daytime sleepiness and narcolepsy 
  • Sleep apnea syndrome and other sleep-related breathing disorders
  • Sleep-related movement disorders such as restless leg syndrome 

The combined format of keynote addresses, panel discussions focusing on up-to-date clinical practice recommendations, breakout sessions, and case reviews will provide insights to participants in applying new knowledge and clinical guidelines in their practices.

The symposium will also provide participants with ample opportunity for hands-on experience with novel therapeutic and diagnostic modalities, such as positive airway devices in the treatment of sleep disordered breathing and home sleep testing. 


ACCREDITATION INFORMATION

PHYSICIANS: Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  Sidney Kimmel Medical College designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

This Live activity, 3rd Annual Sleep Medicine Symposium: What’s New Under the Moon, with a beginning date of 11/20/2015, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 6.75 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
