This annual conference takes a unique approach to patient care by zeroing in on sex differences in non-reproductive areas, such as gastroenterology, cardiology and endocrinology. By understanding these differences, clinicians will be able to tailor care for both men and women, avoiding delays in care and improving outcomes.
Covering a range of specialties, this conference:
- Focuses on how major organ systems function differently in men and women, going beyond a basic review of physiology
- Highlights differences in clinical presentation common diseases in men and women
- Provides important information on varying responses to treatment options, looking at both success rates and adverse reactions
New this year! Registered attendees can submit patient cases to be evaluated and discussed during the conference. Additional information will be provided upon registration.
This course is designed for physicians, nurses and allied health professionals specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, and primary care.
