This continuing education offering is designed to meet the needs of healthcare providers involved in the care of patients with sepsis. It addresses the importance of early identification of sepsis and defines the criteria for evidenced-based management algorithms. Outcome measures such as mortality and readmissions will be a focus, as well as best practice to capture process outcomes.
All faculty at continuing educating activities for nurses, physicians and allied health professionals are required to disclose to the audience:

- Any unlabeled/unapproved uses of drugs or devices discussed in their presentations.
Such disclosures will be made in writing in the course presentation materials. Jefferson Conflict of Interest resolution process may result in changes to the program agenda.
