Day One: lectures from Jefferson faculty, Stephen K. Klasko, MD, MBA, CEO of Jefferson Health and Daniel F. Hanley, Jr., MD of Johns Hopkins University

Day Two: a hands-on, case-based practical workshop at Jefferson’s advanced Rector Clinical Skills & Simulation Center lab with instruction from Jefferson neuro-critical care faculty  

This activity is specifically designed for specialists working in the fields of emergency medicine, internal medicine, hospital medicine, neurology, critical care, and neurosurgery whose practice focuses on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of the critically-ill neurological patient.

NURSES
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is an approved provider of Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. A maximum* of 12 nursing contact hours will be awarded for this program. The participant must complete the pre, post and listen to audio discussion, attend the entire program and attend the Saturday stimulation workshops to be eligible for full contact hour credit.

PHARMACISTS
This activity is eligible for ACPE credit; see final CPE activity announcement for specific details.


**TO RECEIVE FULL CREDIT**

Pharmacists must attend the live symposium in its entirety to receive APCE credit. The Saturday stimulation workshops are not eligible for APCE credit.  

Physicians & Nurses can earn up to a maximum of 12 credits. Below please see the maximum credits to be earned for each portion of the program:

Earn 7 credits maximum

Attend Friday, February 3, 2017 and

  • Stay for the full live symposium
  • Complete the course evaluation

AND

  • Complete the optional pre- test  
  • Complete the optional post-test 
  • Listen to an audio review of correct answers  
  • Complete the evaluation of the pre- and post-test 

All six steps must be completed; no partial credit is available for this optional component.

Earn 8 credits maximum

Attend Saturday, February 4, 2017 and

  • Attend the Stimulation Workshop
  • Complete the Saturday Stimulation Workshop evaluation

Earn an additional 4 credits maximum
