The 6th Annual Palliative Care Spring Symposium for Interprofessional Healthcare Providers: Tackling Hot Topics in Palliative Care brings practitioners from varying healthcare settings to develop the necessary skills to improve the quality and delivery of palliative care.
Didactic lectures, moderated panels, and case based discussions explore the complex levels of care required for seriously ill patients and their families.

ACCREDITATION INFORMATION
NURSES
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is an approved provider of Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. A maximum of 4.25 contact hours will be awarded to participants.
PHARMACISTS
The Jefferson College of Population Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
This knowledge-based program (0079-9999-17-006-L04-P) is acceptable for 4.25 hours of continuing pharmacy education credit. Statements of Credit indicating hours/CEUs will be uploaded to CPE Monitor within 60 days following program for participants who complete this activity and submit required participant information, including evaluation, NABP # and DOB.

This symposium offers your one (1) CME education credit requirement on topics concerning prescription opioids drugs (Continuing Education Mandate from February 15, 2017 state enacted legislation related to new law to prevent and treat opioid addiction).
