Jefferson’s Office of Enterprise Corporate Compliance is hosting webinars to educate the Jefferson community about important updates from the 2022 Physician Fee Schedule that takes effect January 1, 2022. Carrie Miller, MSN, CRNP-BC, CPC, will use real-world scenarios to review the updated clinical documentation and billing guidelines for Advance Practice Providers (APPs), including Incident To and Split/Shared. These educational opportunities are important for APPs and anyone who works with them.
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Sunday, January 30, 2022. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.

This activity is designed for those who are involved with clinical documentation and billing.
Following this educational activity, learners will be able to:
- Explain the different ways an APP can bill for their services and the clinical documentation requirement for each type of billing.
- Select the most appropriate type of billing for the services performed by the APP, physician, and/or physician assistant.
- Apply appropriately requirements of split/shared billing when APPs are collaborating with physicians during a patient visit.
