Advances in Mind-Body Medicine 2nd Annual Conference is specifically designed for healthcare professionals interested in using integrative mind-body approaches to providing patient-centered care. Daniel A. Monti, MD, MBA, The Ellen and Ron Caplan Chair of the Department of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Science and CEO, Marcus Institute of Integrative Health at the Thomas Jefferson University has designed this multidisciplinary program to offer participants a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field of Mind-Body Medicine as they review the most current literature supporting how they manage and treat patients using this emerging and expanding approach to patient-centered care.
SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Wednesday, July 6, 2021. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.

Target Audience
This program is targeted to physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
After completing this educational activity, learners will be able to:
- Evaluate the evidence for various integrative treatments applicable to mental health disorders.
- Compare various integrative treatments including mindfulness-based stress reduction, meditation, neuro-emotional technique, and neuro feedback.
- Discuss the evidence-basis for various nutritional assessments and recommendations to the care of patients.
- Explain different dietary recommendations for specific patient populations.
- Compare different mind-body recommendations for specific patient populations.
- Apply multiple mind-body techniques at an introductory level.
