The 6th Annual Jefferson Liver Disease Symposium will feature a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment and management of patients with a potpourri of liver diseases presenting to the office of the gastrointestinal specialist, primary care physician, internist, and mid-level practitioner. To provide a broad coverage of topics of interest, educational sessions during the conference will be organized into the following categories: hepatitis disorders and liver cancer, miscellaneous liver disorders, and finally liver failure and transplantation.

Topics Include:

  • History of Hepatitis B and Road to a Cure
  • Hepatocellular Carcinoma: 2020 Update on pharmacologic and loco-regional treatment
  • Update in Drug-induced Liver Injury

  • Acute Liver Failure: Current concepts
  • What’s New in Liver Transplant Organ Allocation?

This course is designed for gastrointestinal specialists, primary care physicians, internists, surgeons and nurse practitioners/nurses who treat or manage patients with liver disorders.
