Medicinal Cannabis : Lambert Center Demonstration Activity
This module, Medicinal Cannabis: The Lambert Center Demonstration Activity, provides a testing site for work flow, clarify of instructions, and critiquing of the template that will be used to "clone" all TLC/MMJ modules.
The Lambert Center offers a number of educational activities on appropriate use of medicinal cannabis in a variety of conditions including gastroenterology, hospice/palliative care, sickle cell disease, epilepsy, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s disease, neuromuscular conditions, and others. Customize your education in medical cannabinoids by selecting those topics most relevant to your practice and needs.

Learning Objectives & Target Audience
A standard set of learning objectives will be utilized, sample below for GI Module
- Outline the endocannabinoid system's role in GI/hepatic systems
- Summarize current evidence both for and against cannabis use in GI/hepatic disorders
- Explain the efficacy / lack of efficacy of currently approved therapeutic options for specific GI/heaptic disorders.
- Describe the risks and benefits of medicinal cannabinoids in GI/hepatic disorders
- Discuss cannabinoid interactions with other medications
- Discuss best practices for selection of cannabis forms, strains, ratios and dosages in specific GI/hepatic disorders
- Manage patient needs related to medicinal cannabis across care settings, through interprofessional approaches and communications.
