As you are crossing the border, if you do not have one already, you will need to have an international cellphone plan added to your phone in order for it to work properly. If you have a Jefferson cellphone, please see the steps below. With all questions regarding international cellphone plans for a Jefferson phone, please contact IS&T at extension 5-7975. TravelPass gives your user access to your regular plan allowances while they are traveling outside of the country. For just $2 a day per line in Mexico and Canada, and $10 a day per line in more than 65 countries, the user will have 24 hour access to the domestic allowances for minutes, messaging and data. When they are getting close to the 24 hour mark, they will be sent a warning text message that time is almost up before another daily charge is assessed.
