Jefferson is proud to be a licensed provider for The Society of Critical Care Medicine's (SCCM) internationally recognized Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS). FCCS training prepares non-intensivists, nurses, house staff, and other critical care practitioners for the preliminary evaluation, stabilization and management of critically ill or injured patients until a transfer or expert consultation can be organized. This standardized two day course includes a combination of didactic lectures and case-based skills stations. Participants will gain knowledge and skills in the areas of mechanical ventilation, airway management, diagnosis and management of shock, cardiopulmonary/cerebral resuscitation, neurologic support, and the diagnosis and management of life-threatening infections and metabolic disturbances.

Please note: A FCCS textbook is included in your registration fee and will be available for pickup at no additional cost from the Office of CME, 1020 Locust Street, Suite M-5, Monday-Friday between 8:00AM and 4:00PM. If you would like to have the textbook mailed to you, please select the $25.00 additional fee option below. The FCCS textbook will be sent out one week after registration is processed via FedEx 2-day shipping.
