Sidney Kimmel Cancer Network Annual Meeting
The Jefferson Oncology Group “Difficult Decisions in the Care of Patients with Hematologic Malignancies” offers participants the opportunity to observe experts debate and deliberate how they would manage treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies and myelodysplastic syndromes. This active learning format will feature lectures on the current role of CAR-T cells among chemotherapies and immunotherapies presently available to patients. The meeting will review emerging novel therapies, therapeutic developments, and latest clinical research findings from “bench to bedside” for improving patient outcomes. Panel discussions will provide participants the opportunity to examine cases from multiple perspectives and gain knowledge of how experienced clinicians approach difficult patient care decisions for the hematologic cancer patients they treat.
