The 8th Annual Diabetes Symposium offers a unique learning experience emphasizing the interprofessional team approach needed to improve diabetes care and prevent complications. Expert faculty will guide participants in applying the new knowledge and clinical guidelines into their practices.
Cases will be discussed from multiple interdisciplinary perspectives, providing participants with best practices in the following topics:
- New ADA/EASD Guidelines for Type 2 Diabetes
- Inpatient Diabetes Management
- New Lipid Guidelines
- Dietary Treatment of Obesity
- Diabetes & Exercise
This course is designed for practicing endocrinologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, certified diabetes educators, dietitians, nurses and trainees.
