Jefferson billing providers are invited to join Jefferson’s clinical, revenue cycle, regulatory, and compliance teams as we pose real-life questions and scenarios to Medicare’s clinical documentation expert.
Discussion topics include: Key E/M Service Code Changes for 2021, Medical Student Documentation, Use of APPs, Revised Medical Decision Making guidelines and Increased scrutiny of clinical documentation in high volume claims.
This course is designed for all physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other health professionals.
- Prepare for clinical documentation and CPT code changes that will impacy outpatient services starting January 1, 2021.
- Comply with new regulations and the changes that will impact documentation for services provided every day.
- Design EMR templates with “smart phrases” that contribute to appropriate documentation.
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than November 1, 2020. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.
