This scientific event is designed to update healthcare practitioners on the current standards, perspectives, and advances in treatment of early stage breast cancer. Topics include advances in surgical and radiation techniques, the use of genomics in improving patient stratification and outcomes, novel therapies, emerging clinical trial evidence and the role of genetics in the overall management of early stage breast cancer. The event will enable practitioners to develop a comprehensive plan of care for early stage breast cancer that incorporates a multidisciplinary approach and promotes improved patient outcomes and excellence in quality patient care.

Learning Objectives

Following the completion of this educational activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss the role of neoadjuvant therapy in the treatment of early stage breast cancer.
  2. Describe the importance of genomic profiling in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of early stage breast cancer.
