The 4th Annual Diabetes Symposium has been specifically designed for practicing endocrinologists, primary care physicians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified diabetes educators, dietitians, nurses and trainees. The agenda developed by the course directors, Serge Jabbour, MD and Jeffrey Miller, MD, will include in-depth presentations on a myriad of hot topics, including keynote lectures on type 2 diabetes management, type 1 diabetes management, diabetic nephropathy and cardiovascular disease. We will also have enough time for questions & answers after the keynote lectures, ending the day with cases for discussion where our expert faculty will provide guidance to participants in applying the new knowledge and clinical guidelines into their practices.
The combined format of live debate and didactic presentations will allow the audience to observe and question the experts as they discuss real patient cases.
The ultimate goal of the 4th Annual Diabetes Symposium is to provide a unique educational and learning experience to practitioners, allowing them to improve the delivery of care for diabetic patients.
