The 2nd Annual Jefferson Liver Disease Symposium will address and discuss both the common, as well as critical, liver diseases presenting in the office of the gastrointestinal specialist, primary care practitioner, internist, and mid-level provider.  Educational Sessions during the conference will be organized into the following categories, to provide broad coverage of topics of interest: viral hepatitis, HCC and DILI,  complications of cirrhosis, and selected topics of interest.  Special emphasis will be placed on NASH as it relates to evolving concepts and upcoming therapies.  The topics in each of these sections have major relevance to nurses, physician extenders, primary care physicians, and gastroenterologists in 2016..
