The 2nd Annual Current Issues in Coronary and Structural Heart Disease: A Multidisciplinary Approach conference offers participants a unique opportunity to witness experts in the fields of Cardiology, Surgery, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and Nephrology as they debate and evaluate the recent advances in the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to patients with coronary artery disease and structural heart disease.

The symposium format is unique in that it structures the content completely around case presentations, matching didactic content to patient care, and combines didactic lectures with case presentations that make explicit the critical deliberations leading to care decisions.

The course will feature:

  • the latest evidence-based guidelines designed to better equip participants with new diagnostic tools and therapies in the management of these patients,
  • discussions designed to incorporate clinical findings and management plan options, placing the evidence into the context of care, and
  • point/counterpoint debates, a unique feature of the 2015 program, which will offer the opportunity for in-depth discussion of complex cases, with meaningful opportunities for participants to explore the decision-making process under the guidance of experts in the field.
