Inaugural Jefferson Renal Update Symposium

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a worldwide public health problem that needs to be managed in its early stages in order to prevent its development or slow its progression. This inaugural course will examine disease burden, recommendations for assessment and management, clinical practice guidelines, clinical trials, new therapies, areas of uncertainty and future challenges of this disease.
